Canadian born, with a paintbrush in my hand
Because of my passion for both 2D and 3D art forms, tattooing really is the perfect expression for me. There are few more fulfilling feelings than giving someone a tattoo that entirely changes their being.
I’ve never been good at using a camera, but I’m fascinated by the possibilities in photography. With that, I decided that I could make some magic happen in front of the lens.
Being a very sensory person, I love being hands on with my art, not really sticking to one medium or tool but often evolving my project to mixed media.
Meet the Artist
Alberta born and raised, I get inspiration from the skies and mountains, from the fire in the people in my life. In my early years, I was drawing and painting, but that quickly evolved into 3D art forms such as sculpting and carving.
My dad fostered my passions and drove me to dive into a creative lifestyle. Before my tattoo apprenticeship, I had an arts collective with my then husband and was trades painting to pay the bills. The weeks after I got my apprenticeship, I cried every time I talked about it from the sheer thought I’d finally achieved my life’s dream. My life’s goal.
I was put on this earth to create beautiful art on peoples bodies that they can carry through their lives and keep until the next chapter. For which I am so grateful.
FOR CONSULTS AND BOOKING
Some things to think about that will make your consult and your tattoo better:
1) Reference Photos- As many as you would like to bring, with even the smallest element that you would like incorporated into your design- but try to be concise about your final vision (I really do like full creative freedom as well)
2) Body Placement
3) Color or Black and Gray? Color can always be added later, but it’s very hard to take away once it’s been added.
4) Are you looking to build around your tattoo?
Is it a stand alone tattoo, or are you going to want pieces or a background added in the future? If so, the best way to get a cohesive design overall is to plan everything ahead of time.
5) Sizing
6) Does this tattoo have a deep meaning? And could we enhance that?
7) previous tattoos or piercings, or first time?
8) medical conditions or medications that could impact the way i tattoo you or the way the tattoo heals
9) what is your budget?
10) how long have you been wanting this tattoo? Is it spur of the moment (which is okay)
What to do the day of your tattoo:
In the 48 hours before your tattoo, drink as much water as is comfortable. Stay hydrated the day of the tattoo, and eat a good breakfast. Bring snacks, I recommend bringing something with sugar in it in case you start to feel light headed. Wear comfy clothes that you’re comfortable with getting ink on, and if you’d like, a pillow to be more comfortable.
DO.NOT.TAKE.ASPRIN. Although this is great pain management, it thins the blood so much it’s very difficult to tattoo.
